Steve Steeves
Head Chef/Owner
Steve is a New England native, and a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. Most of Steve's culinary career has spanned from Maine and New Hampshire, all the way to Sedona, Arizona where he worked as Executive Chef for Doubletree Resorts. Steve has a passion for creating authentic New England cuisine with a Mediterranean twist using indigenous and local ingredients. "At Fresh, we support local farmers and fishermen," Steves says. "If it's a quality New England product, we want it at our restaurant."

In addition to his love and passion for food, Steve is a renowned fine art and antiques collector who has journeyed around the globe in search of unique collectible for his gallery.

Steve's better half, Rada brings a wealth of restaurant front of house and management experience to the operation. Rada will be the face of Fresh and will likely be the one greeting you with a warm smile each visit.

The Setting
Laid-back, eclectic and unpretentious, FRESH is one part neighborhood café and one part elegant bistro. Warm hues, soft lighting and an unexpected quirkiness encourage guests to settle in, get comfortable, and have a great time.

The Service
The FRESH experience is about more than just food. A sincere effort to educate our staff on all aspects of food and wine culture is the basis for our service philosophy. The welcoming staff at FRESH goes to great lengths to make diners feel at ease, comfortable and well taken care of.

Diners at FRESH view an open, collaborative kitchen, where chefs freely interact with their staff and guests, and occassionally personally deliver food to tables, but the work begins well before a pan begins to heat. Kitchen staff exhaustively research our region's food and in the process reconstitute flavors and ingredients lost to time. The take what is fresh and available today, or even this hour, and transform it into an evolving menu.

Indoor & Outdoor Dining Options
Upon entering Fresh, you step foot into our welcome foyer that is adjacent to our bar and lounge area. Our inviting, granite-topped bar offers traditional barstool seating, and our comfortable loung area offers a variety of seating configurations either along a custom-built bench wall or at individual booths. The main dining room features several table & seating options from several intimate 2-tops to a large, 6-person round and everything in between. The main dining area has a great view on one side of our open kitchen and on the other side, a wall of windows faces out to our outdoor dining area. Located in a cozy corner of the restaurant, separated from the main dining room by a wall of glass, our semi-private dining room offers an intimate setting for folks looking for a more quiet and subdued experience. This is a great space for business luncheons, or small group dinners and events.

Our outdoor dining area hugs the facade of the restaurant and is the place to be on a sunny summer afternoon. Under cozy umbrellas, these tables afford great views of the Landing and have distant views of Camden Harbor. Dining outside is also a great place to people watch as the locals and visitors alike enjoy the sights and sounds of Camden.

Pet Friendly
We allow guests with dogs to dine in our outdoor dining area only. As long as pets are on leash and well behaved, we welcome dogs of all shapes and sizes. We will even bring a bowl of water to the table so your pooch stays properly hydrated, while you enjoy a great meal at Fresh.
